I really am sorry for being so inactive, I could blame it all on school and the pressures of year 12… but the real reason is I just couldn’t think of anything even vaguely funny to write about. Even when I had a slightly funny idea I just never ended up writing it…

Yes well I do play DotA. I’m sorry. I know what it means to deny, last hit, assist, gank, push, rax and much much more - but what can I say, it is fun. For a little bit of background information DotA; (defense of the ancients) is a custom map for warcraft three, the frozen throne. Yes, it is old but blizzards inclusion of the editor has truly kept warcraft 3 alive and allowed for many custom maps like dota…

Belated Easter blog…

Well well, seeming as I have no time management this blog which is slightly related to Easter is late. I’m sure this irrelevant piece of information hasn’t changed the fact that you respect me (hopefully) and don’t want to see me dead (see first bracket) - but don’t worry by the end of this blog that’ll be very very different. You see me and some ‘friends’ went to the Sydney Royal Easter Show… and it all went downhill from there.

Infection.

Well well, another blog. Seeing as yet again I have nothing really to write about I’ll tell the whole world about my friends 18th Birthday party. The party was meant to be a poker party - more specifically texas holdem. As you can probably guess it didn’t end out that way. In the whole night we played maybe four or so rounds… people kept on going all in.

Little known fact… about me.

Well, just recently I downloaded Audacity. Very few people know that (believe it or not) I sing sometimes. Most of the time this ’singing’ is going with the music that I’m listening to on my iPod - but sometimes (this is pretty rare) to lyrics of my own…

Back School Boys

Well seeing as I don’t have anything funny or interesting to say - and I don’t particularly feel like finding something to talk about. I’m just going to be lazy and put in a video one of my friends made for a school assembly. You see at my school the year 12 grade has a ‘message’ or ‘theme’ and ours just happens to be ‘don’t hold back’. So for the introduction of this theme the ‘Back School Boys’ came back, pretty cool huh. Especially since they had been in hiding since my year 10 formal =]

Believe it or not this isn’t some government program trying to help people lose weight. It’s not even a reality television show trying to make fat kids do funny stuff for the entertainment of others. It is however a movie. If you don’t like spoilers then don’t read this (I warned you)…

Happy Birthday to?

Well one of my friends had a very important ‘lets celebrate you being one year closer to dying’ days (also commonly known as a birthday). Well you see he turned 18. Now he can enjoy the privilege of being an ‘adult’ and being able to go off and buy alcohol. Also he can say get cigarettes with ease, get married (without parental consent), get a credit card, get treated like an adult when you break the law and even vote. Seems quite a bit to just dump on somebodies lap all at once - personally I liked being treated as a juvenile by the court system, I think i’ll miss that one…

Technopathy.

Earlier today I had the trouble of putting a song on a phone.

Why might you ask?

Cause my parents have NO IDEA how to- and im their techno-kid.

I wish it wasn’t this way though. Being the computer child can be frustrating. Especially when my parents have very buggy and slow computers. I have a routine with my mum which basically means she has to wait at least 10 minutes before she can call for me to come and help her. You’d be amazed how many times I still have to go and help with some small problem or something insignificant which seems to be intuitive for me… It helps me to learn new things I guess - really it isn’t THAT bad.

I guess I’ve just grown up in a different world to them and what I find basic they have trouble even contemplating - with computers at least =]
